Text Books distribution for +2 students from 6th April!

The text books of all subjects for +2 students of all government & government-aided schools will be distributed from Monday, 6th April.
Government decided on early distribution of text books to facilitate the students to start preparations right from the summer holidays period.
+2 examinations for this year are over. Results are expected soon.
Once the results are declared, the officials have planned to distribute the new text books for next academic year from 6th April.
More than 1 Crores text books have been printed for the students of government & government-aided schools. All the text books for +2 students have already been sent to the different districts.
Most of the 10th Standard text books have also been despatched.
These books will be distributed as soon as the 9th Standard examinations are over.
For the next academic year , a total of 4.52 Crore text books have been printed for Standards 1 to 12.
Out of this, 3.17 crores text books are meant for students of government & government-aided schools.
1.35 Crore books are meant for private schools. They will be directly sold to the private schools.
