Some vegetable prices including potatoes and beetroot have come down in the Koyambedu wholesale vegetable market. There were no supply of tomatoes and other vegetables on Saturday due to bandh. On Sunday, there was abundant supply of vegetables from various places. Potatoes which were sold for Rs 22 were sold for Rs 15. Similarly the beetroot and cabbage which was sold for Rs 15 was sold for Rs 10. Prices of green peas which were earlier sold for Rs 50 was sold for Rs 70 because of less supply. Similarly the price of cauliflower which was sold for Rs 15 is now being sold for Rs 25. Other vegetables were sold for the price which prevailed last week.
