Confederation of Central Government Employees announced an indefinite strike starting on 28th April opposing the central government�s privatization policies. The third national conference of this confederation took place in Kerala recently. This saw participation from government employees from various states and departments.
Speaking during the break, the General Secretary of Confederation of Central Government Employees, Krishnan, said an indefinite strike will be started on 28th April as a sign of protest against privatization policies of the BJP. This will involve participation from 30 lakh employees from across the country. On the same day, a protest march will be held which will involve 5 lakh government employees.
