Hyderabad is the best place to live in India, Mercers report

Adding laurels to the city is its title as �City of Pearls� and now it has received yet another crowning making it proud. Hyderabad is stated as the best city containing the best quality of living standards, according to Mercer�s Quality of Living report of this year.
The city is ranked 138th in global level according to Mercer report. With this Hyderabad has overtaken Pune which has received ranking as 145. While Bengaluru stands on 146th position, Chennai is in 151st, Mumbai in 152nd and New Delhi, the country�s capital in 154th rank.
According to the release, it is said that the country has not shown any progress in scaling up the quality of living, and remains more or less in the same position like that of last year. However, Hyderabad is exceptional with its elevated quality and is the choice of living due to varied factors including that of options of international schooling here. Furthermore, the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport which is located at a distance of 22km makes available excellent airway travel from the city.
