Changes in the examination format for engineering students: Anna University!

Anna University is exploring the possibilities of introducing changes in the current pattern of semester examinations for all its students in the government colleges, government-aided colleges, self-financing colleges totaling 539.
Anna University analysed the possibility to bring about improvements in the examination system and the current assessment procedure for the answer sheets. An expert committee was formed for this purpose. The committee submitted its recommendations.
Senior officials of Anna University studied the recommendations:
� Changes in the current format of semester examinations; Changes in the format of questions asked in the examinations.
� Improvement in the current procedure of assessment of answer sheets.
� Improvements in the current system of re-evaluation of answer-sheets.
� Punishment for the examines who indulge in illegal procedures in the examination.
Anna University is currently going through these recommendations to decide about the changes.
