LPG subsidy scheme hugely benefits public

With excellent functioning of LPG gas subsidy scheme having about 75 per cent of people receiving their subsidy amount in their bank accounts, this stands as the world�s best direct benefit transfer scheme.
Speaking about the scheme, President Pranab Mukherjee said the biggest direct cash transfer program was launched in the nation on 1st January which has so soon covered 75 per cent households so far. This scheme is currently renamed as PaHaL that stands for Pratyaksha Hastaantarit Laabh
