New on-line facility to claim the pending unclaimed Provident Fund amount!

A new �on-line� service has been set up for details and the procedure for claiming the unclaimed Provident Funds of Rs. 27000 Crores with EPFO.
EPFO has set up the service to get the details of the unclaimed PF amounts on-line.
This is being implemented today (18th February).

The employee subscribers can access the details under their PF accounts.
Web site: http://epf-india.com/. has a section, ( inoperative accounts assistance centre for employees).
Once the details of the Company�s name, date of joining, date of retirement, etc are filled in the form, a specific number will be given.
Then the procedure for claiming the unclaimed PF will be explained.
