200 kmph train to be manufactured in our own nation

Railway department has plans to manufacture compartments of train capable of travelling at 200 kmph speed in our own country, in Chennai city. Details about the project are likely to be released during 2015-16 railway budget.
As per railway budget this year, train capable of travelling at 200 kmph speed consisting 20 compartments will be manufactured in Chennai. All the necessary materials will be produced within the country. As of now, the maximum travel speed of trains manufactured within the country is 160 kmph.
