Vaikunda Ekadasi/New Year�s Day: Tirupathi temple �Sorgavasal� to open by 02.10 AM!

The New Year�s Day & the Hindu Religious occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi fall on the same date this coming year.
In the Lord Venkateswara�s temple at Tirupathi, apart from the special poojas on the New Year Day/Vaikunta Ekadasi,
�Dwadasi Festival� is scheduled on the following day, 2nd January.
Special Poojas will be performed on the deity inside the sanctum sanctorum at midnight on 31st December.
The other deity of the Lord Malayappa Swmi and His consorts Sri Devi Bhoo Devi will be specially decorated and taken on a procession on the internal corridors of the temple and will be place in the Golden Gate of the temple.
Arrangements have been made here for the devotees to have Darshan and offer their prayers.
�Sorga Vasal� is scheduled to open by 02.10 AM. VIPs will be allowed first to have Darshan. After this, other devotees will be allowed for Darshan.
�Sorga Vasal� will be closed by 12.00 midnight on 2nd January.
Police Security has been beefed up for this occasion.
