New efforts by banks for unrecoverable debts!

The banks have started intensifying actions on recovering the outstanding debts.
One of the measures planned involves that idea of collecting the unrecoverable loans given to the companies in the forms of shares/stocks in place of money.
Officials of RBI & SEBI are in discussion about the implementation of this measure.
The total unrecovered debts as on March are Rs. 2.61 Lakh Crores!
This amount is 39% more than the amount during previous March.
