PM Narendra Modi tops the list of Leading Global Thinkers 2014

In the list of Leading Global Thinkers 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi caught hold of the first place.
Popular figures, leaders, and experts involved in a public life are sorted out in the international level and a list of hundred top thinkers is finalized by America�s renowned magazine �Foreign Policy�. This has been under practice since 2005. The referendum for this year was made online and it saw participation mainly from American and European readers.
In the result of this referendum, Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India tops the list and he is followed by German politician, Angela Merkel. The third place goes to the president of BJP Amit Shah.
The magazine appreciates Narendra Modi as an attractive personality, compatible to businesses and a very potential human being. First woman chairperson of State Bank of India, Arundhathi Battacharya, first Indian cross gender newsreader Padmini Prakash, scientist Veerabhadran Ramanathan, and economist Partha Dasgupta are few other Indians who are included in the list.
