UGC: Self confirmation is enough as proof of certificates!
University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that it is enough if the applicants sign on the duplicate copies of their certificates.
The press release:
As already announced, self-signed copies of the applicants� certificates will be enough for checking purposes.
Wherever the checking of certificates could not be carried out, copies of certificates should be endorsed by a government official.
All universities and educational institutions are ordered to bring this into effect immediately and confirmation report of this should be sent to UGC within the next 15 days.
