KVB launches multicurrency travel card

Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has launched multicurrency travel card, a prepaid reloadable card offering the benefit of loading three currencies in one card.American dollar, Euro, and the Singapore dollar.
The card would offer a convenient, safe, and hassle-free expenses abroad. The card empowered the customers to do purchases at VISA-enabled merchant establishments or to draw money from VISA-enabled ATMs while travelling abroad. The multicurrency card will automatically select the next available currency, in the following order of USD, EURO, and SGD.
The multicurrency travel card being a prepaid card the exchange rate was guaranteed and the cardholder need not to worry about exchange rate fluctuations during the travel. It was safer than the traditional traveller�s cheque or debit and credit card as it is a chip pin based card. The customers were provided access to KVB Net Banking through which they could also check the balance available in the card.
