Cyclone Hudhud lay centred over West Central Bay

Metrological Department has mentioned that cyclone Hudhud over East Central Bay of Bengal moved west-north westward and lay centred over West Central Bay and adjoining East Central Bay at 17.30 hours today at about 675 km east-southwest of Visakhapatnam.
The depression would continue moving west-north westwards and intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm during the next 12 hours.The depression would cross north Andhra Pradesh and Odissa coasts between Visakhapatnam and Gopalpur by forenoon of October 12, 2014.
Distant warning signal number two has been kept hoisted at Visakhapatnam, Machilipatnam, Nizampatnam, Krishnapatnam ports.Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea and those at sea have been advised to return to the coast immediately.
