Facebook founder to meet PM Narendra Modi

Following Sheryl Sandber�s visit to India, it is now Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg�s turn to visit the country. The purpose of his visit is be to attend the very first internet.org summit that is scheduled to on dates October 9 and 10. Zuckerberg will also spend time to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other key ministers too.
Considering the high profile CEOs in the US, Zuckerberg stands third in visiting India next to Amazon�s Jeff Bezos and Microsoft�s Satya Nadella.
Internet.org:
Internet.org intends to provide access to internet to all the people across the globe. The founders of internet.org include Facebook, MediaTek, Nokia, Qualcomm, Opera, Samsung and Ericsson. They aim at fetching internet access to the population of 5 billion people who currently do not have it.
The partners are into a collaboration to develop low-cost smartphones in good quality. These phones will be deployed with internet connectivity in under-served communities.
The summit will have all industry leaders, officials and experts coming in together for discussion about the various ways in which wide array of people can be given internet access in languages other than English.
