AIADMK�s MP Thambidurai elected as Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha without contest!

AIADMK�s Parliamentary leader, Mr. Thambidurai, was elected unanimously as the Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
An official press release was made today about this.
Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, congratulated Mr. Thambidurai on his unanimous election with support from all parties and greeted him.Leaders of BJP & Congress have also greeted him on his election as Deputy Speaker.
It is worth recalling that Mr. Thambidurai has already functioned as Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha during the 5 years of 1985 to 1989.
