Reservations stopped for travel for Pooja Holidays ďż˝ 1st October!

Public eagerly waits whether special trains will be run for Pooja holidays!
This year there is a succession of 4 daysďż˝ holiday for Dussera (Ayudha Pooja) celebrations.
All the trains for travel to other districts have been booked.
Hence, the passengers are eagerly expecting to know whether special trains will be run during the Pooja holidays.
Thursday, 2nd October is Gandhi Jayanthi & Ayudha Pooja.
Friday, 3rd October is Vijayadasami.
5th & 6th October are on Saturday & Sunday.
Thus, there is a succession of 4 holidays.
If the private concern employees apply for leave for 1 day on Saturday, they can also enjoy 4 successive holidays!
All persons belonging to other districts working in Chennai are booking for reservations for trains leaving on 1st October.
The reservations started on 2nd August and got full within a few minutes!
100�s of passengers were on the waiting list.
As there were more than 100 passengers on the waiting list for Nellai Express, Cheran Express, Tuticorin Express, Nilgiri, Palani, Kanyakumari, Podhigai, and some other trains, the booking for reservation was stopped.
Even the trains for other states such as Bangalore Trivandrum, Mangalore, Brindavan, Lalbagh, Hyderabad, Alappuzhai, and other trains have bee booked with 100s of passengers on waiting list.
There are no booking available for 2nd class berths or even air-conditioned class.
Reservations for all other trains leaving on 1st October from Chennai via Katpadi & Nagpur, Tamilnad express, GT Express, Kerala & Puducherry express trains have also been stopped.
With this scenario, the travelling public is eagerly awaiting whether some special trains will be run for these holidays!
Succession of holidays starting on Independence day!
Independence Day this year falls on a Friday with the following weekend providing 3 days of holidays. Reservations for the trains are already full for this occasion also!
Railways, so far, have not announced anything o on special trains! It is to be noted that there have never been special trains for the occasion of Independence Day.
