Allowing children to watch TV � is it good or bad?

A recent research has established that it is not good to keep TVs in children�s rooms!
An American university conducted a research on the children�s social awareness growth and the effects of their TV watching.
The researchers have reported that the concentration of the children doing other activities gets highly disturbed if the TV is kept on.
They have also recorded that the growth of the children�s intelligence is harmed when they watch entertainment programmers not related to education.
One of the professors explained that children always manage to learn something from whatever is shown or given to them. It is obvious what they will learn by watching entertain programmes on the TV!
Children under the age group between 2 and 8 from 1150 families in USA were analysed in this research.
