Southern Railway GM inspects coaches for disabled passengers
Southern Railway general manager Rakesh Misra conducted a surprise check on Monday on Chennai-Tuticorin Pearl City Express to find if unauthorized passengers are travelling in coaches reserved for disabled passengers.
The move comes after Southern Railway received complaints from activists that regular passengers were boarding coaches meant for disabled people.
