Chennai Corporation signed an MOU with Anna University
The Chennai Corporation on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding with the School of Planning and Architecture of Anna University and the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) to train its staff on how to make the best use of the city`s roads.
The School of Planning and Architecture and ITDP will jointly train the officials and share their expertise in planning footpaths, cycle tracks and public transport to ease traffic jams, cutting costs in projects and making the best use of the road space. Officials, engineers and other corporation workers would undergo training.
