Heavy rains with lighting & thunder in 48 hours!

The depression formed in Bay of Bengal has intensified to become a low-pressure zone. The director of Chennai Meteorological Department, Mr. Ramanan informed that there will be heavy rains in Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry.
Due to the low pressure zone which formed in bay of Bengal near Kanyakumari, there rain at several places in Tamil Nadu. This depression has now intensified as per the Meteorological department.
This is expected to intensify further in the next 24 hours or before tonight. So, rain is expected in parts of North Tamil Nadu and more places in South Tamil Nadu.
Chennai weather would be cloudy with rainfalls now and then. The sea would be rough. Hence, fishermen are warned not to go to sea.
