Class XII results on May 9th

The Directorate of Government Examinations have mentioned that the class XII higher secondary examination results will be declared at 10 a.m. on May 9.Candidates must enter their registration number and date of birth to access the results.
According to the release, the results can be accessed at www.tnresults.nic.in, www.dge1.tn.nic.in , www.dge2.tn.nic.in and www.dge3.tn.nic.in. Those using smart phones can access their results through www.dge1.tn.nic.in.
Students can also get the results through SMS. They will have to type TNBOARD, to 092822 32585. The SMS facility will be available only after 10 a.m. on May 9. The release said that students can also get their results for free from the respective schools, National Informatics Centres at the collectorates in all districts and at all central and branch libraries.
Students can apply for a copy of the valued answer script or re-totaling between May 9 and 14 except Sunday through their schools. Private candidates can apply through their exam centres.
Those who have applied for an answer script of a subject cannot simultaneously apply for re-totaling in the same subject, the release said. They will be given a chance to apply for re-totalling and revaluation after they receive the copy of their answer script.
The students will have to pay the fee in cash at the respective schools. The receipt will carry an application number which is necessary to download the copy of the answer script or the re-totaling results.
The date for downloading the answer scripts and the websites will be announced later. The cost of applying for a copy of the answer script is Rs. 500 each for languages including English and Rs. 275 each for other subjects. The cost of re-totalling will be Rs. 305 for language, English and Biology and Rs. 205 for other subjects.
