Security up for polls tomorrow
Police have stepped up security arrangements ahead of voting on Thursday. To ensure peaceful polling, they have arrested 1,343 people with non-bailable warrants. Police said they made 1,467 preventive arrests and booked 158 rowdies under the Goondas Act. A total of 1,826 people have surrendered their arms.
