To carry out the safe poll this time, we are bringing in nearly 21 thousand college students to the election booths for carrying out the election tasks on the Poll day, says TamilNadu chief Election officer Praveen Kumar.

Arrangements for fitting up Web cameras in all 17 thousand poll booths
is underway. Nearly 21 thousand students will be involved in the election work.
They are scattered in their work; for the Chennai central parliament group
which includes 1,200 poll booths, 5 students will be employed and other
election both involves 4 students.
Polling instruments will be carried out to nearly 21 troublesome forest
area booth on 23 April (Wednesday). Contact numbers of two voters will be
gathered in these areas, to secretly find out the polling atmosphere
unknowingly.
Details regarding the election will be revealed to the teachers and
government employees who involved in the poll task by 23 April.
Contesting parties can make arrangements for their booths at a distance
of 200 meters from the poll booths. Special arrangements for have been done for
the blind populace to register their votes.
All the election campaigns should get end by 22 April evening. Explorations will be carried out in mandapams and lodges, said Praveen Kumar.
