Tambaram railway station got its first escalator

Tambaram railway station has now received escalators to facilitates passengers. Plans were made earlier to set up such escalators in east and west parts of the station and the work commenced before few months. The work got over in the west side and is now open for the use of commuters now. Work on the east side is on the go.
