An exhibition of photographs, depicting the evolution, history and heritage of Indian Railways, in commemoration of 160 years of service to the nation by Indian Railways, is currently on at Chennai Central railway station.
Due to the good response from the passengers and the public, particularly students of various schools, this exhibition, originally scheduled to be held till 28th March, 2014, has now been extended by one more day and will be open at Chennai Central railway station on 29th March, 2014 (Saturday) also.
Thereafter, the exhibition will be moved to Chennai Egmore railway station and the photographs, offering many interesting information and facts about Indian Railways, will be displayed on 30th and 31st March, 2014.
The general public, passengers, children and rail enthusiasts can use this occasion to have a glimpse of Indian Railways, the pride of our nation.
