A three-month computer training course for visually challenged women will be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Association of the Blind, a registered society that works among the visually challenged for the past 40 years.Training will be given during the weekend.
The programme will commence on April 1 and conclude in June. The course is being conducted in collaboration with All India Confederation of the Blind and the Asian Blind Union.
Women aged between 21 and 40 will be eligible to apply for the course. Preference will be given to working women who are graduates, and can speak and understand both Tamil and English.
