Health focus at Chennai Corporation council meet

Public health is likely to be the key agenda at Friday’s corporation council meet. The civic body recently conducted a five-day camp at 1,000 locations. Mayor Saidai S Duraisamy is expected to present the city’s “health map” based on the results of the camp. The health department has detected several people with symptoms of hypertension, diabetes, respiratory problems, skin infections and stomach disorders.
