Conjoined twins from Tanzania who underwent a major surgery at the Apollo Hospitals in Vanagaram few days ago are now officially �separated�.
Doctors said the condition of the twins was improving and they were feeding and functioning normally. �The two babies have undergone minor surgeries for their skin flaps but apart from that they are recovering well,� said Dr Venkat Sripathi, senior consultant paediatric urologist who led a team of 20 surgeons in performing the procedure that lasted 12 hours
