DHL IT Services Opens New Chennai Office with Capacity for 800 Employees

DHL IT Services, the technology arm of DHL Group, has opened a new 104,000-square-foot office at One Radial in Chennai, strengthening its technology operations and expanding its workforce capacity in India.

The new facility can accommodate up to 800 colleagues and will operate alongside the company`s existing Chennai office. DHL IT Services India has grown from approximately 500 employees in 2020 to 1,600 employees across Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Indore.

The company’s Indian teams support global logistics operations through capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, cloud computing, automation, data analytics and enterprise platforms. These technologies help improve customer experience, operational efficiency, security and resilience across DHL Group`s global network.

Chennai remains a key technology hub for DHL IT Services, with approximately 1,000 colleagues across its two offices. The company also continues to invest in talent development through university partnerships, campus recruitment and specialised training programmes.

In 2026, DHL IT Services India recruited more than 70 graduates from 11 partner universities, reinforcing its commitment to developing digital talent and supporting the future of logistics technology.
