Tamil Nadu Transfers 27 IAS Officers: Major Administrative Reshuffle, Key Postings Announced

Tamil Nadu has transferred 27 IAS officers in a major administrative reshuffle involving several senior officials, district collectors and heads of important government departments.

The transfer orders were issued by Chief Secretary Saikumar. The reshuffle includes key changes in the Revenue Administration, School Education, Rural Development, Transport, Tourism, Food Supply and other departments.

Major IAS Transfers in Tamil Nadu

As part of the latest Tamil Nadu IAS transfer list, several senior officials have been assigned new responsibilities.

Dharmendra Pratap Yadav, who was serving as Chairman of TANSI, has been appointed as Secretary of the Rural Development Department.

P. Chandramohan, who was the Secretary of the School Education Department, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Revenue Administration. N. Muruganandam, who was serving as the Revenue Administration Commissioner, has been appointed as Chairman of TANSI.

J. Innocent Divya, who was the Managing Director of Co-optex, has been appointed as the Secretary of the School Education Department.

District Collectors Transferred

The latest Tamil Nadu IAS officer transfers also include changes in the postings of district-level officials.

Sharanya Ari, Perambalur Collector – appointed as Virudhunagar Collector

F. Abdul Rasikh, Ponneri Sub-Collector – appointed as Perambalur Collector

V. Nallasivam, Chengalpattu Sub-Collector – appointed as Tiruppur Collector

Key Departmental Postings

T. Mohan, former Managing Director of the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC), has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Home Department.

V.P. Jeyaseelan, Director of Tourism, has been appointed as Managing Director of MTC.

Saravana Velraj, Managing Director of TAMIN, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Stationery and Printing.

Ajay Yadav, Managing Director of Aavin, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Food and Civil Supplies, while Sivarasu, who was serving as Director of Food and Civil Supplies, has been appointed as Director of Aavin.

T.N. Venkatesh, Secretary of the Handlooms Department, has been appointed as Managing Director of TUFIDCO.

K.S. Kandasamy, Managing Director of TAHDCO, has been appoininted as Managing Director of TAMIN.

Kavitha Ramu, Managing Director of TUFIDCO, has been appointed as Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation.

The latest administrative reshuffle has resulted in the transfer and reassignment of 27 IAS officers across Tamil Nadu. The changes cover several major government departments as well as district administration.
