Ernakulam - Velankanni Special Train via Tenkasi and Karaikudi; Booking Opens on July 24

To facilitate devotees travelling for the Velankanni Annual Festival, Southern Railway has announced a special train service between Ernakulam Junction and Velankanni via Tenkasi and Karaikudi. Reservations for the special train will begin on July 24 at 8:00 a.m.

Special Train Schedule

The Ernakulam Junction–Velankanni Special Train (Train No. 06061) will depart from Ernakulam Junction at 1:00 p.m. on August 27, September 3, and September 10 (Thursdays) and will reach Velankanni at 5:50 a.m. the following day.

On the return journey, the Velankanni–Ernakulam Junction Special Train (Train No. 06062) will leave Velankanni at 6:40 p.m. on August 28, September 4, and September 11 (Fridays) and arrive at Ernakulam Junction at 11:50 a.m. the next day.
