Human rights Award for Malala

Malala Yousufsai, the Pakistan girl, fighting for improving women’s rights, has been nominated for the Unite Nations Human Rights Award for the year 2013.
This award is given
once in 5 years to appreciate and honor the persons who excelled in their
effort in promoting human rights. Nelson Mandela and Jimmy Carter are two
prominent recipients of this award.
Malala was shot and
injured by the Taliban for her efforts- she got treated in England and
survived. She has resolved not to give up her efforts for better empowerment of
women.
