Safer way of sanitation

As a part of the state government�s initiative to develop safer sanitation facilities to the public, around 385 locations of the state will soon get �Namma toilets�. The very first �Namma toilet� was built in February at Tambaram and this received huge response from the people.
The highlights of these toilets are: good ventilation, proper lighting and proper water supply.This toilet at Tambaram has been found to get used by more than 500 people.
