In the presence of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department signed 127 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) valued at ₹22,794 crore at the Global Tourism Summit held near Mamallapuram.
Among the major investments, Brihade Hotel Ventures will invest ₹1,100 crore in Tamil Nadu, creating employment opportunities for 900 people. The MoUs cover various tourism-related projects, including hotel development, eco-tourism initiatives, cultural centers, and adventure tourism infrastructure.
Officials stated that the summit has strengthened Tamil Nadu’s position as a key global tourism destination and is expected to boost tourism-led economic growth across the state.
