Tamil Nadu Weather Forecast: Dry Weather to Prevail for Next 7 Days

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai, has forecast that dry weather will prevail across most parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal for the next seven days. According to the latest weather outlook, there will be no widespread rainfall over the state during this period.

Date-Wise Weather Details

January 29 to January 31:
Dry weather will continue across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Light morning fog is likely in a few northern and interior districts, including Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Tirupathur, Vellore, Ranipet, and Thiruvallur.

February 1:
Most parts of the state will remain dry. However, isolated light rain may occur in southern coastal districts of Tamil Nadu. Other regions are expected to stay dry.

February 2 and February 3:
A few places in southern Tamil Nadu may receive light to moderate rain, while northern, central Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal are likely to continue experiencing dry weather.

February 4:
Dry weather conditions are expected to prevail across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.

Temperature Outlook

Minimum temperatures are likely to remain near normal with no significant change during the forecast period. Daytime temperatures will be comfortable in most regions.

Chennai Weather Update

In Chennai and its suburbs, the sky will be partly cloudy, with the maximum temperature around 30°C and the minimum temperature around 21–22°C.
