Five-State Assembly Elections: Election Commission Meeting on February 4

The Election Commission of India will hold a high-level consultation on February 4 and 5 regarding the upcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, West Bengal, Kerala, and Assam.
The meeting will focus on election preparedness and logistical arrangements. Senior officials, including IAS and IPS officers, Home Secretaries, and election observers, have been directed to attend.
The Commission has warned that disciplinary action will be taken against officials who fail to participate in the consultation.
