24-Hour Help Centers Set Up for Tamil Nadu Devotees Travelling to Sabarimala
In view of the upcoming Mandala Puja at the Sabarimala Sri Dharma Sastha (Ayyappa) Temple from November 17, 2025, to December 27, 2025, and the Makaravilakku Jyothi festival from December 30, 2025, to January 19, 2026, the Tamil Nadu government has established 24-hour information centers to assist Ayyappa devotees undertaking the pilgrimage.
These help centers have been set up at:
- Office of the Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Endowments Department, Chennai
- Kaliyakavilai (on the Tamil Nadu–Kerala border)
- Sabarimala, Kerala
The centers will function round the clock until January 20, 2026.

Hindu Religious and Endowments Minister Sekar Babu said that these centers will provide continuous support and information to Tamil Nadu devotees travelling to Sabarimala during the festival season.
