VBJ Unveils Over 2,000 Unique Designs at Jhumka Festival in Chennai
VBJ Since 1900 (Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers), one of India’s oldest and most trusted jewellery brands, has launched its grand Jhumka Festival, showcasing more than 2,000 unique designs across gold, silver, diamond and platinum categories.
The festival highlights India’s timeless love for jhumkas, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design elements such as filigree work, temple-inspired motifs and contemporary silhouettes.
Speaking about the event, Amarendran Vummidi, Managing Partner, said the festival elevates the jhumka “from a staple to a hero piece crafted for movement, identity and expression.”
Co-Managing Partner Jithendra Vummidi added that jhumkas hold “memory, character and emotion,” making them a form cherished across generations.
As a fifth-generation jeweller, VBJ also takes pride in its association with the historic Sengol installed in India’s new Parliament, reflecting the brand’s deep cultural legacy.
Following an overwhelming response during Golu and Diwali, the Jhumka Festival has been extended until mid-December. The festival was also showcased at Ignition held at ITC Grand Chola.
The collection is available at VBJ’s Anna Salai and Anna Nagar stores as well as online, with select customisation options.
