CMRL WhatsApp Ticketing Service Faces Technical Glitch

The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has announced that its WhatsApp ticketing service is temporarily unavailable due to a technical issue. The WhatsApp chatbot used for booking tickets is not functioning at present.
Passengers are requested to use alternative options such as the CMRL mobile app, Paytm, PhonePe, Singara Chennai Card, and CMRL Travel Cards, all of which are operating normally. Tickets are also available at metro station counters until further notice.
CMRL has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and assured commuters that updates on the restoration of WhatsApp ticketing will be shared soon.
