Shoolagiri near Hosur could become one of the most important places in the future.
The news is that a new industrial park would be established at Shoolagiri near Hosur in the Krishnagiri district of TN and for that the TN government has applied for EC or environmental clearance.
It is known that SIPCOT or State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tami Nadu was established in the year 1971 with the aim to plan, promote and direct industrial developments across TN. Already an industrial park has been functioning in Hosur with electronics industries, pharmaceutical industries, automobile industries and floriculture etc. Now, the TN govt has applied for EC for establishing a new industrial park near Hosur.
The upcoming park would be set up at a huge cost of Rs 1003 cr on a mammoth area of 1882 acres of land. About 14000 people are expected to benefit from this new industrial park.
