Details about the Group 4 Exam that will be conducted Today across Tamil Nadu!!
Today, 12th July 2025 would be an important day for many aspiring candidates.
Important piece of information is that today Group 4 examination would be held across Tamil Nadu and 13.89 lakh candidates would be appearing for the examination.
It must be noted that there are 3935 vacant posts and these include village administrative officers or VAO, junior assistants or JA, typists, shorthand typists, forest guards etc.
On 25th of April, TNPSC or Tamil Nadu Public service Commission issued a notification to fill up these vacant posts. The last date to apply was 24th of May. As many as 1389743 people have applied for the exam. It is worthy to note that 1369738 candidates would appear for the exam today. It includes 526533 males, 86368 females and 117 from third gender. On the website, the exam hall ticket has been uploaded already. For this examination, 314 centres have been set up in TN.
In Chennai alone, 94848 candidates would appear for the examination in as many as 311 centres.
Information is that a total of 200 questions would be asked. Out of these, 100 questions in Tamil or English to test the proficiency in the language. The General knowledge or GK section would have 100 questions also.
