Yesterday, appointment orders were issued to 44 Assistant Engineers who were selected through TNPSC!!
Clearing Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission or TNPSC is not an easy task. It requires many hours of hard work, dedication and luck etc.
Yesterday, the head office of Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board or TNUHDB was buzzing with activities. Mr. T.M. Anbarasan, the minister for micro, small and medium enterprises grabbed the attention when he issued the appointment orders to as many as 44 assistant engineers or AEs selected through TNPSC.
The minister later spoke about how in the last 4 years of this government as many as 325 people were appointed in the TNUHDB. This included 87 JEs, 108 cash collectors, 7 shorthand typists, 101 AEs, 10 community officers and 12 persons who were appointed on compassionate grounds etc. The objective behind the appointments was to provide jobs to the youths.
Other important personalities who made their presence felt at this event yesterday were Kakarla Usha, Housing and Urban Dept Development secretary, Shreya Singh, managing director of TNUHDB. Priya Ravichandran, joint MD of the board, Mr. V.S. Krishnaswamy and Mr. Lal Bahadur, chief engineers, Krishnaveni, assistant secretary(Admin) and various senior officials belonging to the Tamil Nadu government.
