Across TN, from Today onwards, door to door distribution of applications for getting Urimal Thogai or entitlement amount!!

It is now brought out that starting from today applications for the entitlement amount or Urimai Thogai would be distributed door to door across Tamil Nadu. This work would be carried out by about one lakh volunteers in TN.
It is known that TN govt has been providing Rs 1000 per month as urimai thogal for the women advancement. One crore and 14lakhs women with ration cards have been the beneficiaries of this scheme. There are some women who have been waiting to apply for this scheme also.
Under this scheme and within the rules, many women would be added also. It was announced by Mr.Udayanidhi Stalin, deputy chief minister of TN in the Assembly that the eligible applicants would be given Rs 1000 as entitlement amount within 3 months. Measures have been taken for this.
In this scenario, it is mentioned now that through door to door visit, the entitlement amount applications would be distributed to the public from today onwards. Under the Ungalin Stalin scheme, the applications would be given to the public through the one lakh volunteers for about a time of 3 months.
