Instruction by the Dept of School Education to physical education teachers in TN govt schools!!
For involving the TN government school students in various sports competitions held at national and state level, the Dept of School Education has given instructions now to the physical education teachers.
It must be noted that on behalf of TN School Education Dept a consultative meeting took place at the Namakkal Govt Higher secondary school auditorium. Physical education dept teachers and inspectors took part in the meeting that was presided over by the district principal education officer Maheswari. The special guests were Mr. R. Vimalnishant and Mr. N. Prabhu, educators belonging to Kumarapalayam Excel Institute. On the physical education activities, district physical education chief Gandhimathi gave her speech and grabbed the attention.
In the meeting it was advised that the schools should hold sports competitions separately for boys and girls on certain specific dates. Moreover, it was also mentioned in the meeting that the schools must prepare both boys and girls for several sports competitions at national, state and district levels.
It must be recalled that in 2024 as many as 150 students from Namakkal district participated in the national and state level competitions and won prizes also. The physical education teachers have been asked to prepare more boys and girls to take part in the sports competitions in this academic year also.
The meeting witnessed the presence of several physical education directors and physical education teachers from govt, private and self-financing schools in TN.
