New B. Tech courses introduced for the students at IITM now!!
Indian Institute of Technology in Madras or IITM has introduced 2 superb B. Tech courses for the students from the academic year 2025-26. These courses are namely computational engineering and mechanics (Sem) and instrumentation and biomedical engineering (IBME). It is a well known fact that IITM is one of the premier educational institutes in India.
IITM director Mr. V. Kamakoti spoke about how these 2 newly launched courses would satisfy the requirements of the industries. He added that B. Tech in computational engineering and mechanics would train the students well in the field of digital engineering. This course would have physics, arithmetic and AI or artificial intelligence etc.
The instrumentation and biomedical engineering course have been designed by taking into account the developments taking place in the medical field. The students under this course would be trained to develop next generation medical equipment etc.
