Petrol price slashed Rs.3.87, diesel hiked 64 paise in Chennai

State oil companies have cut petrol prices by Rs 3.87 to Rs 75.68 per litre in Chennai but raised diesel rates by 64 paise per litre from Tuesday.
The price changes announced by oil companies are excluding local sales tax or VAT and will be effective midnight tonight.
