Rs.5 Crore to Railways from ticket less passengers

Railway department has collected Rs. 5 crore in this month as fine in New Delhi. The reason for this huge amount is the surprise inspections done at the important cities in New Delhi line.
The majority of the amount is collected from the ticket less passengers and from cigarette smokers. Sudden inspections were held at Lucknow, Patna, Bhopal, Nagpur, Vijayawada, Chennai, Howrah, Delhi and Pune have enabled the department to collect Rs.5 crore for this month alone. Department of Railways has informed in their news reports that more of such sudden inspections will be carried on in the coming months also.
