Changes in Train Services Due to Engineering Works in Salem Division
In light of ongoing engineering works across various sections of the Salem division, several modifications have been implemented in the pattern of train services. Here are the details:
Full Cancellation of Train Services:
1. Train No. 06812 Coimbatore - Mettupalayam MEMU Express Special departing from Coimbatore at 09:35 hrs on 08th and 10th February 2024 is fully canceled.
2. Train No. 06813 Mettupalayam - Coimbatore MEMU Express Special departing from Mettupalayam at 10:55 hrs on 08th and 10th February 2024 is fully canceled.
3. Train No. 06814 Coimbatore - Mettupalayam MEMU Express Special departing from Coimbatore at 11:50 hrs on 08th and 10th February 2024 is fully canceled.
4. Train No. 06815 Mettupalayam - Coimbatore MEMU Express Special departing from Mettupalayam at 12:55 hrs on 08th and 10th February 2024 is fully canceled.
Short Termination of Train Services:
1. Train No. 16844 Palakkad Town - Tiruchchirappalli Express departing from Palakkad Town at 06:30 hrs on 09th February 2024 will be partially canceled between Erode and Tiruchchirappalli, short-terminating at Erode.
2. Train No. 16846 Sengottai - Erode Express departing from Sengottai at 05:00 hrs on 09th February 2024 will be partially canceled between Karur and Erode, short-terminating at Karur.
Diversion of Train Services:
1. Train No. 13352 Alappuzha - Dhanbad Express departing from Alappuzha at 06:00 hrs on 08th, 10th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 27th February 2024 will be diverted to run via Podanur, Irugur, skipping stoppage at Coimbatore. A 3-minute additional stoppage will be provided at Podanur (12:17 (Arrival)/12:20 (Departure)) for passenger convenience.
2. Train No. 12678 Ernakulam - KSR Bengaluru Intercity Superfast Express departing from Ernakulam at 09:10 on 08th, 10th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 27th February 2024 will be diverted to run via Podanur, Irugur, skipping stoppage at Coimbatore. A 3-minute additional stoppage will be provided at Podanur (12:47 (Arrival)/12:50 (Departure)) for passenger convenience.
Rescheduling of Train Service:
1. Train No. 16845 Erode - Sengottai Express scheduled to depart from Erode at 14:00 hrs on 09th February 2024 is rescheduled to depart at 14:45 hrs, delayed by 45 minutes.
