An important issue for metro train commuters in Chennai now?

The shutting down of the parking lots at many metro stations in Chennai before the scheduled service hours has not gone well with the commuters. The commuters are annoyed and unhappy now. The issue is that the commuters were unable to take their personnel vehicles from the parking lots present in the metro stations. The commuters have been forced to pay for the overnight parking now.
It was pointed out by a regular metro train commuter that he left his vehicle at Anna Nagar east metro station. Point is that he was informed by the staff that one of the 3 parking lots would be closed by 10pm. He added that he was forced to pay for the overnight parking as he couldn`t take his bike before the above said time.
It was later brought out by a staff member belonging to the metro station that the smaller parking lots would be closed down at 10pm.
The managing director of CMRL, Mr. Siddique later mentioned that in the future all the parking lots at the metro stations would be open till 11:30pm or till the last service timings. He spoke about how overnight parking would hinder the parking of new vehicles the next day.
